Timeline-
Chapter 1-
Miss Watson and Widow Douglas take in and try to civilize Huckleberry Finn, but Huck prefers being with his friends outside.
Chapter 2-
Huck goes with Tom Sawyer to a hideout with other boys and makes a gang mainly to steal and murder.
Chapter 3-
Huck gets in trouble for getting dirty and gets lectured about prayer. Rumors of Pap returning and the gang splits up, claiming that Tom is lying.
Chapter 4-
Huck starts to adjust to his civilized life and learns to read. He sees Pap's footprints in the snow and runs to Judge Thatcher to give him the money he got in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in exchange for a dollar. Jim, Miss Watson's Slave, tells Huck that his father has a good and bad angel, but he is safe for now. That night he finds Pap in his bedroom.
Chapter 5-
Pap is furious with Huck and Widow Douglas. He also doesn't believe Huck no longer has his money and takes the dollar Huck got earlier to buy whiskey. Next day Pap returns drunk and demands for Huck and his money to Judge Thatcher. At first, the town agrees that Huck should go with his father but Pap gets arrested because of a drunken spree. He was going to be released but soon they start to think about maybe the only solutions is shooting Pap.
Time Period-
The time period in the book was between 1830-1840 when slavery was legal in some places.
How does the perspective/point-of-view of the narrator influence the story?
It affects it drastically because a 12-year-old has a different more dramatic point of view in life, making the book more exaggerative.

Huckleberry Finn: About

TIMELINE

By Jessica Turcios

This is the timeline for the Pony Express. At first, we used drum signals to warn or communicate with others. Then They used smoke signals to call someone up but that's a fire hazard. Then we used pigeons, like the old version of Twitter, but your mail could get lost so we finally used the pony express. The road was long but it was successful until the telegram came and decided to make everything easier. After the telegram, we started using local mailmen and slowly but surely phones took over and letters were rare.
